A walk at Marquis Drive
Walk a Country Mile at Marquis Drive, November 2017

Covid-permitting, we are normally out and about during the spring and summer, holding stalls at events such as the Staffordshire County Show.

We also organise litter-picking and tree-planting days, and visits for members to places of interest such as the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research at Norbury and Fordhall Farm near Market Drayton. We’re hoping to organise a guided tour of Middleton Lakes RSPB reserve at some point to learn more about how the valuable wildlife habitats there were restored from a former quarry.
