Keep the Litter Out of Our River – Litter Pick, Saturday 11th April
By rolling up our sleeves and working together, we help keep local green spaces clean, welcoming, and safe for both people and wildlife. Litter-picking is a simple but powerful way to protect the countryside, preventing pollution and encouraging pride in local environments. These events are also a great way to meet like-minded people and make a visible, positive difference to the places we all enjoy.
Event Details:
Stafford Sub Aqua Club and CPRE Staffordshire are organising a litter pick on Saturday 11th April (2-4pm).
Meet at 2pm in the Asda car park in Stafford (by the ramp between the petrol station and cashpoints). Parking is available at Asda (3 hours free) or there is a pay-and-display car park at the adjacent Stafford Leisure Centre.
We will be picking along the river bank. Please wear sensible footwear and bring gloves.
Litter-pickers and bags will be provided, although if you have your own litter-picker, please bring it along.
Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
