Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival

Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival
Discover a fantastic variety of guided walks across the breathtaking landscapes of the Staffordshire Moorlands—with most walks free or low-cost and tailored to all abilities and interests.
On Saturday 26th April, CPRE Staffordshire trustee Steve Sankey is leading a walk for visually impaired people and their supporters, from Froghall Wharf along the canal to Consall and back.
The 5-mile walk will have a halfway stop at the Black Lion in Consall for a complimentary bacon butty (or vegetarian alternative) and hot drinks, courtesy of the Rotary Club of Uttoxeter.
Enjoy lots of wildlife, birdsong, and the soothing sound of the water, complemented by the occasional train passing by on the Churnet Valley Railway. Guide dogs welcome.
