Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival

Discover a fantastic variety of guided walks across the breathtaking landscapes of the Staffordshire Moorlands—with most walks free or low-cost and tailored to all abilities and interests.

CPRE Staffordshire organised two walks during this year’s festival.

We’re delighted to have been involved in the 2025 Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival.

On 26th April, people living with visual impairments and sight loss joined trustee Steve Sankey for a lovely walk from Froghall Wharf along the canal to Consall and back.

On 3rd May, we were delighted to welcome CPRE’s President, broadcaster and anthropologist Mary-Ann Ochota, for a fascinating talk on the hidden histories of our landscape, followed by a walk around Warslow to put our landscape detective skills into practice.
