We have postponed our AGM to Wednesday 9 December 2020. It will once again be held at the Haling Dene Centre in Penkridge from 12:30 (for 1pm) to 3:30pm. All members are invited to attend (non-members are also welcome to attend but are not able to vote). A complimentary lunch and refreshments (donations welcome), supplied by Beaudesert Park Farm, will be provided. We also hope to have a speaker on farming in Staffordshire and how it has been affected by the recent lockdown.

The full venue address is Haling Dene Centre, Cannock Road, Penkridge, Stafford ST19 5DT. Home to Penkridge Parish Council, the centre is a Grade II listed building built in 1841 for a retired Colonial Bishop. Its extensive grounds have ample parking, including disabled spaces, and the meeting room sports a grand open fireplace and beautiful view of the gardens.

Penkridge has a rail station and is also serviced by Arriva buses. Local taxi operators are Pegasus of Penkridge (01785 712 982) and ABA (01785 636 363) and should be booked in advance if required.

Please have a look at the agenda and send in any nominations for the committee by no later than 2 December. Please note that you may nominate yourself and we would be happy to welcome new committee members.

Please do attend if you possibly can: this is an important event in your local CPRE calendar offering opportunity to participate in the nomination process and influence the direction of your CPRE group. Please email or phone 01785 277890 as soon as possible if you will be attending, stating any dietary requirements/restrictions, so we can organise catering accordingly. Please leave a message if there is nobody available to take your call – we will get back to you if you require a response.
