Oatcake Morning 2019

Enjoy a delicious oatcake at Canalside Farm and raise funds to protect Staffordshire's countryside on Staffordshire Day, 1 May.

On Wednesday 1 May 2019 - Staffordshire Day - we will be combining the countryside with the culinary by holding an oatcake morning at Canalside Farm. The café has kindly agreed to donate a percentage of takings from any oatcakes sold that day to the Staffordshire branch of CPRE. This will help us continue our work of responding to planning applications and consultations, dealing with enquiries from members of the public, running a Green Schools’ Awards scheme, and organising litter-picks and tree-planting events.

If you would like to find out more, we will have a stall at the Canalside Farm café from about 10am on 1 May.

Canalside Farm café is open from 9am to 5pm and is located at Mill Lane, Great Haywood, Staffordshire, ST18 0RQ.

The World’s Biggest Oatcake Morning is being held to mark Staffordshire Day, a celebration of everything we love about Staffordshire.
