Staffordshire - Campaign to Protect Rural England

Each year CPRE Staffordshire present an award to a school in recognition of its environmental or conservation work. The award consisits of a locally sourced hardwood trophy, which is held by the school for one school year, and a donation towards the school's environmental/conservation project. Entries are open from early in the spring term and close before the end of the summer term. Further details of the 2019 competition will be announced in the early spring.

All Staffordshire schools, whether rural or urban, may enter. We are looking for inspiring projects that contribute to the protection, conservation or improvement of the local environment whether through practical conservation work, energy saving or waste reduction/recycling, clean transport schemes, self sufficiency or any other original idea your school may come up with.

2018/19 winning school was St Leonard's First School in Dunston.
