The area covered by the
Staffordshire Branch of CPRE is that of 'old' Staffordshire, that is before
the formation of the West Midlands Region.
There are four District Groups covering the whole of the County. The N. Staffs
Group covers Newcastle, Stoke and Staffordshire Moorlands (and surrounding countryside).
The East Staffs. Group Uttoxeter, Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth (and surrounding
countryside). The S. Staffs. Group Wolverhampton and Dudley (and surrounding
countryside)and the Mid. Staffs Group Stafford, Penkridge, Cannock, Stone and
Eccleshall (and surrounding countryside).
