The area covered by the Staffordshire Branch of CPRE is that of 'old' Staffordshire, that is before the formation of the West Midlands Region.

There are four District Groups covering the whole of the County.

North Staffs Group covers Newcastle, Stoke and Staffordshire Moorlands (and surrounding countryside).

East Staffs. Group covers Uttoxeter, Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth (and surrounding countryside).

South Staffs. Group covers Wolverhampton and Dudley (and surrounding countryside)

Mid. Staffs Group covers Stafford, Penkridge, Cannock, Stone and Eccleshall (and surrounding countryside).
